Top Vegan-Friendly Happy Hours In Seattle

The struggle is real: Going out for Happy Hour in Seattle with friends, and being consistently disappointed by the lack of substantial vegan food options. REALLY? What year is it?

Sorry, but... we just can't eat any more house olives and greasy french fries!

No wonder our friends think we are malnourished...

And modifying every other non-vegan happy hour plate to death is a pain for everyone involved. And it usually doesn't arrive as expected after all the fuss.

What's a hungry vegan to do? We can't JUST drink cocktails and not eat, because we all know what happens next...

Headaches. Headaches are what happens next.

Fortunately, there are some kick-ass restaurants where you can enjoy a very vegan-friendly happy hour in Seattle!

So let's get right to it.

Vegan-Friendly Happy Hours in Seattle

Life On Mars was voted "Best New Bar" by Seattle Magazine, and for good reason.

Well, a few good reasons. One of those is happy hour. This Seattle bar and restaurant only serves vegan food, and their happy hour specials are de-freakin-lish.

House Mac, Caesar Salad, Treasure Fries, Disco Fries, and Chicken Fried Artichokes take center stage during happy hour, with specialty cocktails, wells, drafts, and wine all discounted as well.

Their Vinyl Happy Hour, where customers choose the records to spin, pairs well with any dish.

Since Cycle Dogs moved into its brick and mortar, they’ve been unbelievably generous with the food specials, including late night and happy hour!

Enjoy Cycle Dogs’ basic cheeseburger, reminiscent of your favorite fast food pasttime, made with 1/8lb Beyond beef patty, and topped with vegan cheddar cheese, chopped white onion, pickles, mustard, and ketchup. Make it a meal with fries, and you’re still under $10.

Their Happy Hour menu also features a chick’n caesar wrap, corn dogs, and cheezy bakon ranch fries.

Razzis is a local pizza and pasta joint with an entirely vegan menu. You read that right: vegan pizza menu.

And to make things even better, their happy hour menu has tons of vegan options, too!

Vegan Mozzarella Sticks, Beyond Chickn' Strips, Hummus Plates, and Two-Topping Mini Pizzas are just some of the noms to look forward to.

Fountain drinks, beer, and wine are also discounted for your enjoyment. And Razzi's food menu is also very accommodating to gluten-free diets, and they even serve gluten-free beer!

You know the times they are a-changin' when a Philly cheesesteak sandwich company adds a vegan option to their menu...

And due to popular demand, King Philly has officially included their vegan Philly sandwiches into their happy hour 2-for-$16 sandwich deal. Score!

These sandwiches are off the hook, packed with flavor, and served with a side of fries. Choose from Vegan Sandwich - seitan "steak" and vegan cheese - or the veggie mushroom (ask for no cheese or sub the vegan cheese), both served on a locally baked French roll and topped with grilled-to-perfection onions and peppers.

King Philly is the place to take non-believers. There are plenty of non-vegans who prefer the vegan Philly, so it’s best to call ahead since they've been running out quite often. Plants rule.

HH: Monday-Friday, 3-5pm | Visit King Philly
