Finch and Pine is a place that makes everything with serious love and care. They source most of their ingredients locally, and serve up delicious vegan-friendly brunch dishes for you to enjoy. This place is super cozy and small, so best to avoid coming in with a party of more than 2-4 people.
The menu changes seasonally, but expect sweet dishes like pancakes or french toast, cinnamon rolls, and plenty of vegan pastries. For savory dishes, they usually have biscuits and gravy, tartines, and often a chickpea frittata. They offer boozy beverages to bubble up your afternoon, or try one of their amazing lattes or hot chocolates, and don’t skip the house made coconut whip.

After closing during the pandemic, Wayward is now back with new ownership but most of the same dishes that local vegans know and love. Firstly, breakfast is served ALL DAY, so if you are a late sleeper or want breakfast for dinner, this place is perfect for you!
Another reason to love Wayward is their large menu - from scrambles to omelets to chicken and waffles to breakfast crunch wraps and more - so have fun choosing. Wayward has quite a few gluten-free options to choose from as well, but as the staff is new and still learning, you’ll want to double check and make sure that what you’re getting is gluten-free.

Few dining experiences come anywhere close to brunch at Seattle’s vegan mainstay Plum Bistro. Choose from decadent dishes like their Cinnamon Roll Pancakes, Avocado Toast, or the Plum Slam. Their menu changes seasonally, so there’s always a fun and delicious surprise awaiting you.
Wine, fresh-squeezed OJ, and other beverages are also available to complement your delicious meal. Enjoy their beautiful patio seating when the weather permits.

Sometimes you just need a warm, freshly-baked cinnamon roll. And Cafe Flora's all vegan, maple-licious pecan cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting is precisely what the doctor ordered.
While Cafe Flora is not 100% vegan, most of their brunch menu is able to be made vegan, with easy substitutes like tofu scramble instead of egg. Another favorite brunch dish that is vegan by default is scrumptious biscuits and gravy. They also offer an assortment of baked goods, as well as espresso, turmeric lattes, kombucha, cocktails, and more.

Lazy Cow’s weekend brunch program is currently on pause, but that doesn’t mean they’re not worth a stop when your brunch cravings hit.

Oak is well known on the South end of Seattle for having a very inclusive menu, with lots of vegan options. They’ve also stepped up their brunch game with some veganized versions of their menu mainstays. They also have a great patio for dining!
Favorites from their vegan brunch menu are vegan biscuits and mushroom gravy, French toast made with JustEgg, chick’n and waffles, and weekend specials. Don’t miss their fantastic cocktails and fun mocktail drinks.

Ok so maybe Cafe Red isn’t “brunch” in the traditional sense, but if it’s well worth considering when your brunch cravings hit. Plus, you can get it any day of the week, not just weekends!
Their Pesto Breakfast Sandwich is a fan-favorite, with a house-made egg patty, house-made cashew pesto sauce, Violife smoked provolone, tomatoes, lettuce, and cherry peppers on a locally baked bun. Have fun choosing between that and their Deluxe Hash Brown - basically avocado toast on a big, crispy hash brown patty. Cafe Red also has gluten-free options, lots of specialty coffee drinks, and sweet treats.

Portage Bay is a great place that pleases all types of eaters, and their menu features many organic and locally sourced ingredients. For vegans, they have Banana Pancakes which includes a trip up to their toppings bar that offers fresh fruit, nuts, and other fun toppings. They also have a vegan breakfast hash if you are looking for a hearty, vegetable focused meal. They do not have vegan butter or whipped cream, but do offer non-dairy milk with their Fair Trade coffee.
