Probably because we hibernate for 9 gloomy, dark months out of the year, eating a wholeeee lotta feelings (i.e.: pizza) until summer comes...
And when summer does come, who wants to cook?! Pizza it is.
#NoJudgment
Because of this hot n' heavy consumption, there are a lot of opinions out there on who makes the best vegan pizza in Seattle.
To find out, we knew we had to really take our time, and ask as many vegan pizza snobs - ahem, experts in the city as possible.
The results? Well, they might surprise you!
But first, let’s talk about some new vegan pizzas on the scene that just might take a top spot soon…
New + HYPE-Worthy Vegan Pizza In Seattle
Moto Pizza: In early 2021, a self-taught pizza master Lee Kindell and his 100-year old sourdough starter (which he calls Betty) set out to create a phenomenal Detroit-style pizza, and let’s just say it’s a force to be reckoned with. Kindell was born in the Philippines and raised in Bremerton, and infuses his pizzas with his Filipino heritage as well as Northwest flavors.
Moto Pizza operates out of a house reminiscent to the movie, Up, sandwiched between two tall buildings and balloons attached to the roof to complete the scene. If that wasn’t enough to love this place, they also have a handful of vegan pies to choose from!
Currently they sell out months (!) in advance, so keep your eyes on their website for a chance to pre-order a pizza you won’t regret planning ahead for. BUT if you’re desperate to get one right now, and head over right when they open, you might be able to snag one.
Word on the street is they’re opening a second location in downtown Seattle soon… Pizzas are rectangle, about 9”x7” and feed 1-2 people. Located in West Seattle. Visit Moto Pizza’s website.
Elder Gods Pizza: In February of 2022, Full Tilt owner Justin Cline announced a new concept, Elder Gods Pizza, would be joining his White Center ice cream shop to sling Detroit-style, all-vegan pizzas. “The only vegan pizza we liked was way up in the U District,” said Cline, and as locals know, that drive can sometimes be 25 minutes, sometimes an hour, and definitely outside of delivery range.
Elder Gods Pizza makes a limited number of pizzas, and currently only operates Thursday-Saturdays, so ordering in advance is highly recommended. These pizzas are rectangle, about 10x14 and serve 3-4 people. Located in White Center. Visit Elder Gods Pizza’s website.
These new and carbolicious deep dish rectangle pizzas will sure give the traditional round pizzas a run for their money, so get them before you gotta wait a full calendar year!
Now, let’s get to the (current) top favorite pizzas in town.

DISCLAIMER: We WON'T start the debate whether pineapple belongs on pizza. We wanna remain friends after this, okay?
Seattle loves a good deep-dish pizza, and Breezy Town knows exactly how to deliver on the carb-o-licious, Chicago-style crust.
Their vegan house specialty, Raiders Of The Lost Art, is a deep-dish phenomenon topped with a vegan cheese blend, red sauce, spinach, red bell pepper, artichoke hearts, and vegan Chick-un sausage.
They also run some amazing daily vegan specials offered by-the-slice or for a full pie order, like this one pictured.

Where would we be without Razzi's? With a full vegan menu complete with specialty plant-based pies, it's no wonder why Razzi's comes in hot at #2 for vegan pizza in Seattle.
Have fun choosing a pizza, though.
The Thai Chick'n pizza is a favorite, or if you love your veggies, go for the WOW with artichoke hearts, sundried tomatoes, and finished with vegan pesto.
They also have an amazing gluten-free crust and a cauliflower crust. We love you, Razzi's!

Pi Vegan Pizzeria is not only Seattle's only 100% vegan pizza shop, but they're also self-proclaimed as "America's oldest vegan pizzeria." That's a big claim, so they better be doing it right.
And they do.
From BBQ Chicken to Hawaiian to Magic Mac pizza (yep - there's mac n' cheese on it), Pi has a vegan pizza to please your taste buds (and even your non-vegan friends' palates, too!).
Using Teese and Good Planet vegan cheeses as well as cashew ricotta, their pizza is great for those who don't like the flavor and texture of Daiya cheese found at most other places.
Pi is an absolute must for vegan pizza in Seattle. Visit them on Roosevelt near the University District. Roosevelt | Order Here
We couldn't leave you with only the top 3, since there are a lot of other excellent options for vegan pizza in Seattle. And depending on what part of town you're hanging out in, you might need a closer go-to for your pizza fix.
Here are even more runner-ups for great vegan pizza in Seattle - we all gotta mix it up once in a while anyway, right?

Ian's Pizza - Capitol Hill, Fremont
Don’t sleep on Ian’s! Get Ian's pizza by the slice, or order whole pies. Choose from six specialty vegan pizzas like Buffalo Chick'n, Pepperoni, Veggie, or a Burger Pizza topped with tater tots. Ian's uses Chao cheese, and they also have a vegan pesto sauce. Yum! They also just opened a Fremont location in early 2022! Gluten-free crust is available.
Little Maria's - Denny Triangle
This Queer-punk pizzeria has a cult-like following and a kick-ass vibe. They serve New York-style pizzas, usually available by the slice, and use Daiya cheese.
The Masonry - Queen Anne
After some harsh criticism for leaving The Masonry off the list, we investigated (and in all honestly, ordered their pizza), and yep - they need to be known. Enjoy Neopolitan-style pizza that's got a "chewy crust with a little bit of char," and Violife vegan mozzarella.
Humble Pie - Little Saigon
For a non-vegan pizzeria, this is still about as green as it gets. Built out of recycled shipping containers by their LEED-certified architect and owner, Humble Pie runs on sustainable energy, and 100% of their fresh produce is organic. They offer Good Planet cheese and Field Roast sausage.
Note: No gluten-free crust.
Pagliacci - City-Wide
This Seattle-based pizza chain started on the Ave in 1979. Fast-forward to today and they've got 14 locations across Seattle, 3 inside the UW campus, and 7 more on the Eastside. It's safe to say you're never too far away from a Pagliacci.
And as of last year, Pagliacci's now carries Good Planet cheese at every location, making it a convenient and delicious choice for vegan pizza in Seattle. They also carry Field Roast sausage.
Note: Gluten-free crust is not vegan.
Mod Pizza - City-Wide
Sure, Mod is a nationwide chain, but it’s also a super-convenient option for vegan pizza in Seattle. They have vegan cheese and recently launched a vegan Italian sausage, plus as many toppings as you want for one set price? Yes, please! Pro-tip from a few Mod enthusiasts: Don't skip the balsamic fig sauce.
Note: gluten-free crust is vegan; cauliflower crust has dairy and eggs.
Patxi's - Ballard
Deep dish, pan or Neapolitan-style crusts, and Daiya cheese.
Gluten-free Neapolitan crust is also available.
PCC Grocery Stores - City Wide
Available at all 15 locations, their Vegan Pesto pizza is a big hit. Purchase a whole pie to take and bake at home, or call ahead to pick one up hot and ready! Sometimes available by-the-slice, too.
