Cocokind has been a hot commodity lately with their skincare and makeup.
Our favorite product that’s been selling out in stores is their Daily SPF 32. It’s fragrance-free, and formulated with blue phytoplankton and micro-algae that leaves you with a lightweight finish. This is the sunscreen that’s great to carry with you everywhere.
Note: These four Cocokind products are formulated with beeswax and are not considered vegan: Macabeet Tinted Moisture Stick, Mymatcha All-Over Moisture Stick, Skin Butter, Turmeric Stick.
PATRICK TA VELVET BLUSH
Asian-American celebrity makeup artist Patrick Ta has had a beauty line for some time now, but it’s only recently he’s ventured into adding a few vegan products. We’re so glad he did, because they are top notch.
His most popular vegan beauty item is the Monochrome Moment - Velvet Blush that in four gorgeous shades. The blush uses plant moisturizes that creates a silky smooth finish that melts seamlessly onto the skin.
This item is definitely in our bag for the summer.
HERO COSMETICS MIGHTY PATCH
Co-founded by Ju Rhyu in 2012 during the K-beauty explosion, Hero products have just hit the shelves of big box stores across the US after a much-needed rebranding .
Gaining immense popularity via social media, their “hero” product is the Mighty Patch that helps reduce acne bumps overnight.
From the brand: “Our first product – Mighty Patch – had a single ingredient. Clean skin care is in our DNA. We create clean, cruelty free, vegan-friendly products designed for long-term skin health.”
JASON WU PALETTE
This brand was created by Jason Wu, the extremely talented fashion designer.
The line focuses on neutrals and nude tones, with a product range from eyeshadows to full lip products. The collection is very reminiscent of KKW beauty, but at half the cost - and products have just launched into Target stores around the US.
The Flora 9 - 01 Matte Agave palette is a definite makeup bag staple for its gentle and warm tones. Top it off with The Classic Liquid Liner for a soft day look. Note: Not all products are vegan.
