Don't Miss Bellingham's Second Annual Vegan Restaurant Week
The team behind Bellingham Veg Fest is hosting its second annual Bellingham Vegan Restaurant Week, which will run September 20th through 26th at participating restaurants in town.
Last year’s first-ever Vegan Restaurant Week in Bellingham had over 20 restaurants participating, many of which featured special menu items to excite their current patrons. Turnout was a huge success for all of the participating Bellingham small businesses, and the event organizers hope to make this year even better.
September 20th was an intentional start date, as it’s also the kick-off date for Bellingham’s Climate Action Week.
“Choosing a plant based diet is one way that will minimize our personal impact on our planet,” they stated, regarding their choice to align their event dates with Climate Action Week.
Organizers hope that the Vegan Restaurant Week will get many non-vegans out in attendance to experience just how delicious plant-based food can be, and how beneficial it can be for the planet.
Participating restaurants include New Public Food Truck, New Mexico Tamales, Waffles In Paradise, Alchemy Creamery, and more. For more participant announcements and other event details, follow Bellingham Veg Fest on Instagram or Facebook.
