How To Support Seattle Restaurants Without Dining-In

Seattle's vegan scene is small yet mighty, but our beloved restaurants and shops need our support more than ever. While many of us still don't feel comfortable going out and risking illness or passing it along to others, there are quite a few ways we can support Seattle vegan businesses.

Here are four simple ways to support.

How To Support Seattle Restaurants During Covid-19 Pandemic

1. Buy A Gift Card

This is one of the easiest ways to support Seattle vegan businesses without risking illness to either party.

Get a gift card for later, and maybe get another as an easy and thoughtful gift for a friend!

Many of our local vegan businesses are running deals on gift cards right now, so take advantage of a nice discount, too :)

2. Order Take-Out (preferred to delivery!)

Takeout is another easy way to support your favorite local vegan restaurant. It also keeps most of the money in the pockets of the business.

Why? Delivery services charge the restaurants pretty steep service fees, and the tip goes to the delivery driver, not the restaurant. So, if you are able to, order online or by phone and pick it up at the restaurant.

Restaurants are also willing to meet you curbside, so don't be afraid to request it :)

3. Order Delivery

If takeout is not an option for you, there are plenty of Seattle vegan restaurants that are already on or have recently joined, popular delivery apps like Uber Eats, Postmates, and more. Peep the directory below to see which restaurant is on which platform, and get grubbin' for a good cause.

4. Share On Social Media & Leave Positive Reviews

We know that this is an uncertain time, and many of us do not have much disposable income, to begin with. And with the fears or realities of job layoffs or business closures, it may be wise for us to save our money rather than spend it.

We understand, and luckily, showing some love doesn't cost a thing!

And sharing a post about your favorite vegan restaurant, a kind review on Google or Yelp, or even sharing this article with a friend or on social media is a free and easy way to help.
