Cycle Dogs Launches Kickstarter to Open a Brick & Mortar

Cycle Dogs Launches Kickstarter to Open a Brick & Mortar

Cycle Dogs, a bomb vegan food truck in Seattle, is opening a restaurant in the Ballard neighborhood!

Cycle Dogs released a teaser on February 15th on Instagram letting fans (🙋‍♀️) know their plans to open a brick-and-mortar restaurant.

Their Kickstarter is now live for patrons to support the expansion. We are so excited for them! And for us 😏

Keaton Tucker is the Owner and Founder of Cycle Dogs. Here's what he had to say about this big change:

“With the brick and mortar we’re able to really open up our possibilities,” Keaton said, “More space, an oven, two fryers.... lots of new and exciting menu items coming soon. Expect to see a new menu this summer.”

Cycle Dogs will be taking over the space that housed No Bones in Ballard. This is serendipitous, considering that Cycle Dogs currently operates out the old No Bones' truck. Cycle Dogs started out as a vegan hot dog cart powered by an e-bike before moving into the food truck world.

Don't Know About

Cycle Dogs?

It's Time To Get Acquainted.

For those unfamiliar with this beloved Seattle eatery, Cycle Dogs is known for their “elaborate vegan hot dogs, burgers, fried awesomeness, and more.

Keaton gave us a little Cycle Dogs history lesson: "We started as a bicycle hot dog cart in the summer of 2015. In the winter of 2017, we bought the No Bones truck. We opened that summer at Peddler Brewing Co. Cycle dogs closed on a lease at the old No Bones brick and mortar this Feb and we’re planning to open mid-April!"

Cycle Dogs serves up vegan comfort food like their Crispy Chick'n Sando, and recreates vegan versions of fast-food favorites like Richard's Deluxe (veganized Dick's), Baconator, Crunchwrap Supreme, and Sourdough Jill.

It's the best spot for vegan trash food 🍟🍔 They literally even have a Trash Can series featuring menu items like their Trashy Fries: french fries piled high with house-made chorizo, grilled onions, grilled corn, TWO kinds of mayo, and green onions.

One of our favorites is the Trashy Ciabatta, a brunch sandwich featuring scrambled JUST Egg, hash brown patties, vegan breakfast sausage, and vegan cheese tucked in between a fluffy ciabatta roll.

Did we mention their sauces? The chipotle mayo and their hacked version of Dick’s tartar sauce are both amazing and occasionally they sell it by the bottle -- if you’re lucky enough to snag one before they sell out! We can’t wait to see what they have in store for us when the restaurant opens in April.
